‘Making payments more bitesized’
Tranch is a new B2B fintech service that allows businesses to spread out large annual payments into regular instalments. Allowing ambitious businesses to pay on their terms and have more control over the flow of their capital. We helped the team to develop and refine their brand strategy, tone of voice and key messaging and a new name that would help them to
stand out in the crowded fintech market.

Based on the new name ‘Tranch’ (which means to carve out portions) we created an illustration language that helped describe the capital service, where barcharts get sliced up into smaller tranches. The logo itself gets cut into tranches to form the layouts and link the design system together. The tone is light and the toolkit is crisp and clean which makes the brand easy to use and remember.

Tranch is about slicing payments into manageable portions. 
So we created tons of isometric illustrations of bar graphs, pie charts, phones, office equipment and cloud computing all being chopped 
into neat chunks.
